Join ProsperUs Detroit and Michigan Good Food Fund for Cultivate Your Business urban agriculture cohort, a 6-session, in-person business accelerator designed for farmers and urban agriculture businesses looking to strengthen their operations, build financial capacity, and prepare for their next stage of growth. 

Whether you are actively farming or in the process of building your agricultural operation, this cohort will provide practical tools, resources, and peer learning to help you build a more sustainable and resilient farm business. 

Participants will:

• Strengthen farm operations, production, labor, and planning systems 
• Build strategies to increase sales and expand market opportunities
• Improve financial management, pricing, recordkeeping, and business decision-making 
• Explore land access, farm infrastructure, and long-term sustainability
• Navigate food systems, safety requirements, funding opportunities, and industry resources
• Develop a practical strategy to strengthen and grow their agricultural business 

• Currently operate a farm or urban agriculture business, or are actively developing your agricultural operation 
• Have access to land you currently farm or are actively in the process of acquiring land
• Have been operating your farming or urban agriculture business for 10 years or less
• Have generated, or reasonably project generating, at least $3,500 annually through your farming or agricultural activities
• Are actively pursuing opportunities to strengthen, sustain, or grow your agricultural business
• Are willing to openly discuss your business operations, challenges, and goals in a peer-learning environment
• Can commit to attending all 6 in-person sessions
